March 27, 2012 - Creighton Preferred Builder Named “National Custom Home Builder of the Year”

Visnic Homes Inc. has been named the 2011 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Custom Home Builder of the Year. Ted Visnic Jr., president of Visnic Homes, was presented with the award this month during the 2012 International Builders’ Show in Orlando, Fla.

February 27, 2012 - Reid Badger Named Executive Chef at Creighton Farms

Creighton Farms, an exclusive residential club community in Northern Virginia, is pleased to announce that Reid Badger has joined the Club at Creighton Farms as Executive Chef.  Reid will oversee menu development for the dining room, Jack’s Pub, professional and non-profit golf tournaments and special events, including weddings, galas, and private dining concepts for residents of Creighton Farms.

December 14, 2011 - Creighton Farms Names Thomas Neel Artist-in-Residence

As of the Piedmont region’s most acclaimed and collected fine artists, Tom Neel enters his 24th year of both national and international fine art sales creating a new partisanship with Creighton Farms.  Beginning with his first commissioned painting for the sales office in 2006, an exclusive agreement between Neel and Southworth Development’s CEO, David Southworth, will have Neel’s original oil paintings featured throughout much of the main floor of Creighton Farms’ newly completed clubhouse.

October 18, 2011 - Southworth Development Welcomes Senior National Championship to Creighton Farms

Southworth Development owners David Southworth and Joe Deitch were on hand for Tuesday’s opening reception for the Southworth Senior PNC Championship held at Creighton Farms in Aldie, Virginia. The Championship’s 264-player field, composed of Senior PGA Professionals representing the 41 PGA Sections, will compete this week for a total purse of $285,000. Creighton Farms, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, will host the final 36 holes. This marks the Senior PGA Professional National Championship’s first year of title sponsorship by Southworth Development.
